Interactive toolbar

Every button is built for live explanation.

Click the toolbar controls below to preview what they do. This is a website demo, not a recording, so it stays crisp on every screen.

Online class notes

Question 4

Show that the line intersects the curve at two points.

Feature set

Everything needed for a first public beta.

01

Floating pen dock

A small draggable pen icon opens the toolbar and keeps the screen clear while presenting.

02

Select mode

Switch back to normal cursor control immediately so you never get trapped in drawing mode.

03

Pen cursors

Use the normal Mac cursor, a color-matched pen nib, or a plus cursor for precise pointing.

04

Color palette

Choose any color, save up to 20 swatches, and drag colors to arrange your palette.

05

Shapes and graph

Draw lines, arrows, rectangles, circles, polygons, 3D-style shapes, and coordinate grids.

06

Move and resize

Move pasted images, text, and graph objects. Resize from corners while keeping work clean.

07

Undo, redo, clear

Correct mistakes during a live class or meeting without stopping the explanation.

08

Export annotation

Save the current annotation layer when you need a quick record of the explanation.

Use cases

Designed around real screen-sharing moments.

Online teaching

Annotate over worksheets, browser pages, graphs, PDFs, and live class material.

Presentations

Circle dashboard numbers, draw arrows on slides, and highlight decisions during calls.

Support and demos

Guide someone through a screen by pointing, marking, and clearing quickly.

Privacy and beta tracking

Counts installs, not your screen.

InkPen sends a small anonymous launch ping once per day so we can understand how many beta devices are active.

  • Sent: install ID, app version, macOS version, Mac model, architecture, display count.
  • Not sent: screenshots, drawings, files, app content, names, emails, or exact activity.
  • Screenshot capture is intentionally removed from the public beta and planned for a later signed release.

Public beta

Download InkPen for Mac.

Install the beta, open InkPen from Applications, and the floating pen toolbar appears on screen. For now, the app is free while public testing is active.

ScreenInk platform

More visual teaching tools will join InkPen later.

ScreenInk will become the home for InkPen and future tools like a focused math board. The website is ready for more product cards when the next app is ready.
